01About the route

A circular route combining mountain hiking with a section of via ferrata, located near Ribes de Freser and passing through the Roca de la Creu area and the Sant Antoni Hermitage.

The route, approximately 7 km long, has a total elevation gain of around 730 m, making it a complete yet accessible activity for people with a minimum level of fitness. The route begins with an ascent along forest trails, with gradual sections that allow you to warm up before reaching the more technical part.

The via ferrata is easy, ideal for beginners. It is well-equipped and offers simple vertical sections combined with more relaxed areas, always with good views of the Ribes Valley and the Pyrenees Mountains. It is a very enjoyable route without being overly demanding.

After completing the via ferrata, the itinerary continues towards the Sant Antoni Hermitage, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery. From here, the descent begins along comfortable trails that complete the circular route.

In total, the activity can take about 4-5 hours depending on the pace and stops, although the actual time spent moving is less.
