We start the route at the car park located under the Portús water treatment plant, just after passing the A7.
We will follow the Mas Rius path and continue along the path that takes us to Fitó. At this point, we will leave the main route to go down to Fitonell. We must be very careful on this section, since depending on the time of year, we may not be able to access it. In addition, part of the path is ferrata, so great care must be taken. Fitonell is a smaller waterfall than Fitó, with a drop of 20 meters, but the surroundings are very wild. Once there, we will undo the path and resume the path to Salt del Fitó, the highest waterfall in the entire Eastern Pyrenees, with a vertical drop of 59 meters. Special care must be taken on the suspension bridge that gives access to the waterfall. Finally, you will undo the path to Portús.
