The Gorg de la Plana is one of the most famous waterfalls in Les Planes d'Hostoles, in the Garrotxa region.
It is a very popular place in summer because it combines a waterfall + a deep pool for swimming.
It is one of the pools in the area where people bathe the most because:
it has space for swimming
the water is usually clean
there are rocks around to sit or lie down
But be careful:
the bottom can be irregular
and after rain the current can increase.
Getting there is easy:
a short path from the town
about 10–15 minutes walking
shady path following the stream
That is why it is very visited in summer.

The environment is very green all year round.

In recent years, some pools in the area have been regulated because there were too many people in the summer.
