Remains of bunkers lie on both sides of the Coll dels Belitres (165 m), the N-260 border crossing between Portbou and Cervera de la Marenda.
On the Portbou side, machine gun nests from the P Line, as documented by the Museu Memorial de l'Exili, can still be seen, while on the French side, German fortifications from 1943 remain. Thousands of Republican refugees crossed this pass in 1939.
