Fortified house with towers and embrasures on the main street of Canet de la Tallada (La Tallada d'Empordà, Baix Empordà), behind the church of Sant Mateu and near Montgrí.
A lintel with the date 1742 points to a major 18th-century renovation; in the late 1950s it was restored by the German sculptor Ricci Riggenbach, who lived there for about three decades.
