The Roman Bridge of La Roqueta, between Fontanilles and Serra de Daró, is one of those corners of the Empordà with more history than it seems, perhaps it is not Roman, despite the name.
It was part of what is known as the Empúries road, which connected the Ullastret area with other ancient roads towards Empúries.
