01About the place
The Iberian city of Ullastret is the largest and most important urban site of the Iberian culture in Catalonia.
Capital of the Indigetes tribe between the 6th and 2nd centuries BC, it once housed more than 2,000 inhabitants.
It stands out for its monumental wall, its complex urban layout with cisterns and silos, and unique finds such as its emblematic ritual severed heads. Today it forms part of the "Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya (MAC)" and offers an immersive virtual reality experience to see what it was like in its heyday.
