Remains of a castle on a large crag about 850 m high northeast of Maçanet de Cabrenys, between Maçanet and La Vajol, a viewpoint overlooking the Empordà region.
Documented at the end of the 11th century as "Cabrera's rock," it was captured and destroyed by the French around 1288. Sections of the wall, the keep, and a cistern remain.
