The shelter is marked in the KML (Kinetic Map of Catalonia) in the municipality of La Vajol, in the Les Salines massif, next to the Can Barris to Coll de Lli road, very close to the border.
We have not found any record describing its type or condition; the ICGC (Institute of Geological and Cultural History) gazetteer places the Caseta dels Carrabiners about 400 m away.
