Ruins of a 10th-11th century medieval castle atop Puig de Querroig (670 m), in the Albera mountain range, where Portbou, Banyuls, and Cervera de la Marenda meet.
A 14th-15th century watchtower was built on its remains; some slate and granite walls still reach 5 m in height on the eastern side.
