01About the place
Remains of an early medieval castle atop Castellot (561 m), one of the last foothills of the Mont mountain range, north of Beuda (Garrotxa).
Locals call it Castell dels Moros or Castell de les Bruixes, and it is already mentioned as Castrum Bobeta in a papal bull of 1002. Its round tower is one of the oldest in the region, where rectangular towers predominate.
