The fountain in the village center of La Vajol is located next to the Plaça Major and Carrer de Darnius.
At 546 meters, La Vajol is the highest village in the Alt Empordà region and sits on a granite plateau at the foot of the Les Salines massif, near the border. We have found no reliable information about the fountain's history.
