01About the place
The Albera spring is located about 2 km northwest of Espolla, next to the Castellar road, in a shady spot among cork oaks.
Its water is ferruginous, and it retains a spout with long benches on either side and two built-in tables; an inscription commemorates the Mascort family, the former owners. Today it is on privately owned land.
