01About the place
The Albera Fountain is located in the municipality of Cantallops, in the Forcadell area.
It was built in 1916 at the behest of Salvador Casas i Baltasar and his wife, as commemorated by the plaque on the spout; a linden tree was planted, and a stone table and benches were added. Damaged by the floods of 1986 and 1989, it was restored by volunteers in 1997.
