01About the place
A walled enclosure dating from the 13th and 14th centuries, still preserving eight towers and three gates in the old town of Sant Llorenç de la Muga.
Next to the Plaça de Baix are the Portal de Baix, located at the base of a square tower and one of the two main entrances to the town, and the Torre Farlingo, a circular tower built of large ashlars with arrow slits at the top.
