01About the place
The highest peak in the Serra de l'Albera mountain range, at 1,257 m, lies on the border between La Jonquera and the Roussillon commune of Sureda.
The summit is crowned by telecommunications antennas and the Torre d'en Manel, a pyramidal stone monument, and is included in the FEEC's list of 100 peaks.
