The surface-fed hot springs consist of several pools arranged in a descending pattern.
The upper pools, closest to the spring, are very hot. As you descend, the water temperature decreases. The visitors are diverse, including naturists, children, and dogs. Until a few years ago, around 50 people lived permanently in their camper vans at the bend in the road. They were the ones who improved the paths and restored the pools.
Leave your car in Prats Balaguer and walk along the D-28 road. You will reach a bend where the entire shoulder of the road is closed off to prevent parking. Almost at the bend, on the left, the path leading down to the hot springs begins.
