01About the place
A semi-cylindrical tower rises from the bedrock of Punta des Baluard, in the heart of Cadaqués' old town.
It was once part of the ancient castle that guarded the bay. Dating from the 13th century, the castle itself is documented as early as 1030. Today, the tower is integrated into the Town Hall building and can be viewed from the outside while strolling along Carrer d'en Silvi Rahola.
