01About the place
A circular watchtower, approximately 12 meters high, stands atop a hill across the Muga River, opposite the walled town of Sant Llorenç de la Muga.
Dating from the 13th century and documented in 1292, it comprises three stories, the two lower ones vaulted and featuring arrow slits, with the entrance raised one meter above the ground. Restored in modern times, it is a listed cultural asset of national interest.
