The Bosc de les Estunes is a magical natural site in Banyoles, famous for its spectacular cracks in the travertine rock and its centuries-old oak trees.
According to local legends, these large fissures are the caves where the Goges (water fairies) live, who guard the place and weave threads of gold during full moon nights.
