01About the place
A small limestone cave on the western slope of Montplà, in the Montgrí massif, at an altitude of 275 meters and with a passageway of about 10 meters.
It is a burial site: in 1975, the Centre d'Estudis del Montgrí documented human bones and numerous teeth, hence its name. Inside, one must crouch down, and, due to its archaeological value, it is best viewed from the entrance.
