01About the place
A small Catalan gallery in a flat holm oak grove north of Capmany, next to Mas del Quer Afumat, with a 1.55 m tall granite phallic menhir beside it, interpreted as a marker of the tomb.
The dolmen was first described by Lluís Marià Vidal in 1894 and excavated by Bosch-Gimpera and Pericot in 1920; its most notable feature is its single-piece capstone, measuring 2.85 by 1.82 meters.
