01About the place
Three granite dolmens surround the Estanys de la Jonquera, small lagoons on the plain at the foot of the Albera mountain range, forming a megalithic complex with several menhirs.
Estanys II, dating from the first half of the 4th millennium BC, has the most complex internal structure known in the Albera; Estanys I is a simple vestibule-well type dolmen.
