A monumental beech tree stands in the Xalamí forest, above the village of Requesens, within the Albera Natural Park.
It measures 20 meters in height and 4 meters in circumference, and supports a granite block weighing approximately 700 kg in a fork 3 meters above the ground, which has given rise to several legends. It is a designated monumental tree, with the code AM 02.086.02.
