01About the place
A large spring stands next to the Can Nou farmhouse, at 767 m, on the track from Albanyà to Sant Miquel de Bassegoda, in the Alta Garrotxa region.
It formerly served as a watering trough and washing place, and the Salines-Bassegoda Consortium describes its water as potable. At Can Nou, a seven-minute walk from the Bassegoda refuge along the GR 11 trail, you can request the key to the refuge.
