The Albera mountain spring, located in the municipality of Portbou, lies below the Coll de Tarabaus pass and near the menhir of the same name, overlooking the Molinàs valley.
It's a good spot for lunch on the route from Portbou to Sant Quirze de Colera; the water flows from beneath a vertical rock face and may dry up if livestock have passed through or during periods of drought.
