01About the place
A spring in the municipality of Maçanet de Cabrenys, on the slopes of the Albera and the Salines mountains, near Les Casotes and Puig de Calabuig.
It owes its name to the fact that the water flowed thin, "like a thread." According to local sources, it no longer flows because the irrigation system that fed it was diverted.
