01About the place
The Albera mountain spring, located in the municipality of Rabós, is situated near the Coll d'Esquerders pass and close to the Coll de Pallerols pass, next to the Font Jordana hut or grange.
It is the reference water point on the route towards the Coll de Banyuls pass along the Ruta dels 4 Refugis de la Tramuntana (Route of the 4 Refuges of the Tramuntana). Hikers describe it as a cattle watering trough, often with dirty water.
