A large stone breakwater on Moll Grec beach, opposite the ruins of Empúries, in L'Escala, next to the coastal path.
Probably built in the 1st century BC, it measures 82 m long, 6 m wide and 6.5 m high, and is one of the most emblematic structures of the site because it has always been visible.
