01About the place
Megalithic complex next to Mas Baleta, on the plain of Estanys de la Jonquera, at the foot of the Albera mountain range.
It consists of an enclosure of standing menhirs measuring approximately 16 by 12 meters, dating from the Late Neolithic-Chalcolithic period, and about 40 meters away, two granite dolmens from the 3rd millennium BC. At Mas Baleta I, already documented in 1894, Pyrenean-style bell-shaped beakers were discovered.
